A Lil Industry Tip!

The industry in NYC and Hollywood is NO joke! When you're in it you have to be smart, organized and hungry. But first, artists especially dancers, actors, musicians etc, should have a nice headshot. Your photo is a representation of your business, which is YOU. It's very important for your clients to be attracted to your image. When it comes to the commercial world, you have to keep it poppin and simple at the same time. A lot of times you're just getting booked based on your headshot. I know I know, us artists like to be unique, colorful, and ALL over the place, but keep it cute ladies and show some swag, fellas. It's good to have photos that can used universally with your business. Choose

Working With Shakira

In my career I have been given the opportunity to work with multiple celebrities. The one that marked gold was my performance with Shakira for the American Music Awards in 2009. The crazy part is, I booked the job the day before the show. Lets rewind. The choreographer had auditions a couple weeks prior; I auditioned and got cut. Happy 5 Year Anniversary to me!

I woke up one morning and realized that my five year anniversary had past, five years of living in New York. September 30th is my anniversary date and I've been making moves everyday and I've had to stop and smell the roses. Wow 5 years! I never would have imagined that I would be here for this long fa real fa real. I am grateful! I feel like I took a big step back so I could take a giant leap forward, for myself as a woman, and as an artist. I have experienced challenges I couldn't foresee and I've learned a lot of life lessons that have made me an even stronger person. I am very ambitious, but even I have my days where I just want to say F it! But the higher power continues to have my back
