I have been a teacher/educator of dance for many years.
When I was 15 years old, I had my first weekly class.
Let's just say, I come from a family of educators.
I've taught Hip Hop, West African, Jazz, Dancehall, Afro Modern, Contemporary, dance performance and more!
Before that I was choreographing for everyone's piece in different talent shows while in junior high and elementary school. I've always enjoyed teaching because I enjoy spreading the knowledge of art, culture and the history of dance, especially black dance!
It's important to speak about the history behind our struggles.
Not only that, I enjoy engaging my students.
Believe it or not, my students teach me!
Thank you to everyone that participated in any of my classes and those who have provided opportunities for me to teach.
As I continue on my path sharing my artistry (my tool for life), I'll see you in the studio, in the classroom, in the audience, on your Tv Screen, and of course on stage!
