Yaminah's electrifying choreography, dance direction, and performances have been sought after by prestigious festivals and events worldwide, including AfroPunk, The Apollo, World Of Dance, One Africa Music Fest, House Of Yes, The Brooklyn Museum, Asase Yaa African American Dance Theater, Malaria No More, Choreographer's "Carnival" Ball, International African Arts Festival, FIYAH Productions Dancehall Theater, and the Soul Nation Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In 2010, she created and formed her company Art Of Legohn, LLC, where she serves as the artistic director and produces shows such as Red Light Special: A Night of Urban Burlesque®, dance battles like Dancehall Battle NYC®, community engagements, and hires performers. Additionally, she shares her knowledge in arts, culture, and education.

The Alvin Ailey School, Edge Performing Arts Center, Lula Washington, and The Alice Arts Center. Additionally, her upbringing immersed in vibrant culture has led her to embrace and incorporate West African, Dancehall, Afrobeats, Samba, Afro House, Hip Hop, Jazz and Modern dance into her choreography.
Yaminah's achievements extend beyond the dance world. She is a NAACP Speech Award Winner, former Debutante, Grant Panelist, and holds a BA degree in Speech Communications & Dance with an emphasis in choreography and organization from San Francisco State University.
