Getting My Snap Back!

For a long time, I've been searching for the best food choices to fit my body type.

I am a former Hollywood/Soho professional personal trainer, and health nut.

My six pack was on point!

Even though I know how to cook, I never really enjoyed doing it.

At one time, I was on protein shakes and heavy on the protein bars because I was always on the go!

I was either in the gym all day, at a dance audition, on a dance job, or in the studio.

LA is big on being body conscious, especially in the industry but when I moved to New York, it seemed to be the exact opposite. There were not many billboards talking about eat this way or eat that way, all I saw was food!

Even though I was a health fanatic, I had to survive out here, so I ate pizza all the time.

I know I know I know, bad food choice, but it was sooo good and cheap, and I figured I'll just dance it off.

NOPE!

Over the years while in New York, ya girl got a lil thick'ums.

I'll admit I wasn't eating the best, I love my wine and my old [groin] dance injury resurfaced to the point where I could barely walk at times. I went through physical therapy twice, but now i'm doing better than before.

For the past month I've been on my vegan tip cuz I'm working on getting my snap back, ya'll.

Although It wasn't easy at first, I'm trying it out - not just to lose weight, but to be healthier.

I noticed that after I eat animal products, I am bloated for a while, when I don't eat animal products, I'm not so bloated.

I'll keep y'all posted on my vegan journey.

I'm not sure how long this is going to last, however, if I see great changes, I may consider staying the course.

If you have any suggestions regarding vegan tips, I'm all ears.
